Natural Light
We always think of home offices as stale, boring spaces, usually with a desk facing the wall, but what if you put your desk in front of a window instead?! Especially coming into the winter months, natural light is your friend, however you can get it! All that extra natural light your body will get, will make you a lot more productive, along with making you feel more alert and happier. It’s amazing what a bit of natural light can do for boosting your mood!
Decor
Just because it’s an office, doesn’t mean it has to be a dull space with plain white walls. The space should reflect your personality, no matter what it is you do for work. Try painting your walls a fun and inspiring colour, something thats going to get you motivated. You should make your office a space you enjoy being in. Perhaps you could add a splash of colour with a fun painting, a brightly coloured rug or even some plants or flowers. If you’re tired of staring at a wall or host many meetings, try floating your desk in the middle of the room, don’t let what people have done in the past stop your creative thinking when it comes to making your office. Now that we all own laptops, it’s easy to create a work space that doesn’t feel like a cubicle.

They generally look a lot nicer than normal office storage and it’s a great way to recycle your old items. Give it a lick of paint and it’ll look as good as new!
