Its online store has an average visit time of 3 minutes and 55 seconds, with most of the customers coming from the United States, Australia, and Canada.
The American-based chain of department stores Nordstrom is the next on our list. It was founded in 1901, and with an in-store revenue of $11 billion in 2017, it is one of the biggest clothing, footwear, jewelry, cosmetics, and fragrance retailers in the world.
In 1998, Nordstrom released its website which made them one of the first retailers that went online. The online revenue is $3.7 billion dollars, and its top customers are from US, Canada, and UK. The average visiting time on its website is 4 minutes and 48 seconds.
Walgreens is an American company operating in the pharmaceutical sector. It is the second largest pharmacy store chain in the United States with a revenue of $97.145 billion.
It has 235,000 employees who work in 8,175 stores. An interesting fact is that 76% of the population of the United States live within five miles of a Walgreens store.
Walgreens decided to go online in 1999 and with an average visit time of 4 minutes and 4 seconds, its online customers, who mostly come from US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, brought them a revenue of $1.970 billion.
